Huntingdon House was built by Maclean Kay in the mid -30s and  refurbished in 2009. Care was taken to retain the unique character and history of the property while ensuring it satisfies the demands of even the most discerning traveller. Huntingdon House and Chawani bungalow are on Satemwa; a working tea and coffee estate managed by our family. Running a Estate and a lodge in Africa with its issues is not always as romantic as it might sound. But we love it and think we would be bored if it was all to easy :)

The house is very much part of us and the history of our farm and we hope you feel happy at home with us and we look forward to see you here with us soon and bring your adventurous sprit.
